Description Waterproofing plastified pvc sheet with fiberglass felt reinforcement., LASTOIS PVC SG-FV?

PVC sheet in grey colour. Plastified for waterproofing works. It is not compatible with bitumen, tars, solvent or oil. Suitable for waterproofing terraces and trafficable and non-trafficable decks. Suitable for applying in outdoor and indoor. Rollers of 1,78x20 m and 1,2 mm of thickness.

Surface preparation

The support must be firm, smooth, clean and dry and free of loose particles. Staggered joints must be placed in case of thermal insulation sheets without spaces between sheets bigger than 1 mm.

  Before spreading the sheet the colaminated profiles must be fixed mechanically both in horizontal and vertical partitions. In vertical plane the profile must be fixed 20 cm minimum over flooring surface. A sheet strip must be welded to the paritition wall and it must be overlapped and welded on the membrane in horizontal plane. It is recommended to use colaminated profiles with the suitable size according the placement position. - The profile must be sealed properly with LASTOIS POL polyurethane putty. - The sheets must be welded on the colaminated supports in order to hide profiles fixings. - The loose membrane must be placed on the support and in perperdicular direction to the line of maximum slope. - Welding between sheets is made by hot-air-blowtorch. The overlaps should have at least 5 cm between them. - In order to verity the weldings a physical test will be done using a metallic needle passing it along the joint. - More than 3 sheets in just one point must not be joined. - A geotextile-sheet of PUNZONAIS must be used if expansions that can damage the sheet are foreseen. - Polyurethane foam application must be avoided directly on the waterproofing work. - In case of refurbishments chemical incompatibilities with old waterproofing based on bitumen sheets and modified bitumen-based mastic must be taking into account and even may be necessary their removal. - Particular attention must be paid to singular points.

2015-2017 SHIAC (ITC-20151250): DESARROLLO DE TECNOLOGÍAS DE HIGIENIZACIÓN PARA LA REDUCCIÓN DE RIESGOS BIOLÓGICOS EN ACUICULTURA
