Surface preparation

  Mix the liquid component with the powder in a proportion of 3 parts powder to 1 part liquid - The mixing can be done manually or mechanically, by low-speed electric mixer (300-400 rpm), taking care not to incorporate air. - Do not mix more product than can be used in 10-15 minutes, considering that a hotter time reduces the open time of the product. - Use a stainless steel trowel; give a first uniform coat of 1 mm thickness. - Once the first coat dry (depending on temperature) proceed to the application of the second layer, considering that if the surface is too dry or has been over a day since the first layer dried proceeds to wet the surface lightly with a sprayer. - The second layer is also applied with a stainless steel trowel, in a thickness of 0.5 mm. - The trowel must be very clean throughout the application. - Once the second layer is dry, it is possible to sand excess of material, during the sanding some water will appear in the coating surface. - Proceed to wet the surface with water (spray) and as soon as the brightness will disapear the protector PROTECTOR TEAIS-MICROCEMENTO can be apply. - One or two coat of the protector can be apply, it is recommended to do a previous test since TEAIS MICROCEMENTO usually intensifies its tonality after the application of PROTECTOR TEAIS-MICROCEMENTO. - The support on which it is applied must have a correct flatness (can´t be uneven), because TEAIS MICROCEMENTO does not allow flatness corrections. - Before applying it on a tiled support it must be perform a deep cleaning, removing all traces of grease, oil, loose particles or anything that could affect to his adhesion capacity. - When on tiled supports the joint marks are seeable, it is necessary to apply one coat of TEAIS BCR (before applying TEAIS MICROCEMENTO), in this way we will avoid the absorption and the joints will not be seeable.

Clean up

The tools must be cleaned with water while the material is fresh, once hardened it will can only be removed mechanically.

2015-2017 SHIAC (ITC-20151250): DESARROLLO DE TECNOLOGÍAS DE HIGIENIZACIÓN PARA LA REDUCCIÓN DE RIESGOS BIOLÓGICOS EN ACUICULTURA
