LASTOIS PSF is a two-component elastic sealant based on polysulphide with high chemical resistance. Suitable for indoors and outdoors. Resistant to permanent immersion. It is used for sealing joints in concrete, tanks and canals, on concrete floors, industrial warehouses, stores, parkings, airports, joint sealing in contact with chemical agents.

LASTOIS PSF is applied for sealing concrete joints, joints in permanent immersion, sealing of joints in canals, water tanks, floors of industrial warehouses, floors of stores, parkings, airports, joints in contact with chemical agents.

Surface preparation

The support must be clean, dry and cured. (28 days for mortars and concretes).

Modes of application Two-component elastomer sealant and self-levelling based on polysulphide.?

  The recommended thickness of sealing are from 8 to 40 mm. - In general the depth of sealant must be the half of the width. Until 15 mm of width and the depth will be the same. - Is recommendable to use a base of joint such as JUPO to limit and avoid not desired tensions in the bottom of the joint. - To improve the adherence on porous supports a special primer such as IMPRIDUR or LASTOIS PSF must be applied. - It is introduced in two component which are mixed before applying. - The admixture must be done with a low revolution driller (300-400 rpm) provided with a rod free of air, mixing for 5 minutes until achieve an homogeneous colour. - The edges of joint must be protected with tape in order to avoid spots. - Pour it on the joint once the primer dries. - Avoid the application in exteriors whith rain forecast after the application. - The proper temperature for doing the work must be between 10ÂșC and 30ÂșC. - DonÂŽt apply with temperatures below 5ÂșC. - DonÂŽt apply with Relative Humidity over 90%. - Avoid applications with high temperatures, strong sunlight or wind. - Usable after 72 hours (20ÂșC and 50% Relative Humidity).

Clean up

The tools must be cleaned with EPOXY SOLVENT while they are still wet.
