Description Epoxy floor coating, EPOAIS S ?

Two component epoxy special soil resistant agents, minerals, and fats. Mixing ratio 85A: 15B and must be applied within 6 hours. Colors: White, Gray, Tile Red and Green. 7 m2 per kg in layer 50 microns.

Aplication Epoxy floor coating?

For their chemical characteristics and high strength, it is particularly suitable for use as floor coating with special needs:
- Floors in the food industry, for ease of cleaning and waterproofing.
- Refrigerators, canneries, factories, supermarkets, indoor garages, holds of ships, laboratories, garages, etc.. If exposed to sunlight (weathering) may suffer discoloration, which does not influence the performance of the road surface, if required it is desirable exterior is finished with a coat of polyurethane 80/20 of the same color.

Surface preparation

Must be clean, no grease, salt, dust, cracks and spalling, appearing compact and dry. Otherwise proceed to make timely repairs. The concretes were prepared preferably by mechanical means.

Modes of application Epoxy floor coating?

 The content of each component of the product have to be homogenized separately. -After, make the mixture of both components manually or low-revolution electric mixer (300-500rpm) and helicoidal paddle. -The concret surfaces must be prepared mechanically by shotting peening, sanding or scarifying in order to remove the laitance and obtaining a textured surface and with its pores open. -Every supports defects as the possible loose parts, will be eliminated, cleaned and will be replaced with suitable mortars before the coating applying (The reparations used to be done with DUREPOX AUTONIVELANTE or with DUREPOX TIXOTRÓPICO because no many cured time is required in order to apply the coating). -Is recommeded to apply a hand of primer with IMPRIDUR, and in the case of polished concretes, the application is essential. -Mortars and concretes have to be cured for almost 28 days.
 Once the two-component mixture is done the product application must to be done as paint way and must be applyed with a roller or with a brush. It is recommended to apply two or three layers with a drying time of twelve hours among layers at list.
 Is suitable to sand with dust extracting among layers. -Screeds beside the ground which don´t have vapour barrieres and can have moisture, can make blistering on the paint coating. In this cases is recommended the application of a DUREPOX self-levelling coating as a barriere.

Clean up

The tools used in the product handling, requires for cleaning the use of our Epoxy Solvent before the reticulation begins, after which mechanical means are needed for cleaning.

7 sqm per kg on 50 microns layer.

Storage Epoxy floor coating

2 years, in their original packagings, properly closed, without exposing to extreme temperatures, protected from the weather, in dry and airy places.

FEDER INNTERCONECTA

2015-2017 SHIAC (ITC-20151250): DESARROLLO DE TECNOLOGÍAS DE HIGIENIZACIÓN PARA LA REDUCCIÓN DE RIESGOS BIOLÓGICOS EN ACUICULTURA
El proyecto SHIAC tiene como objetivo principal la investigación y desarrollo de una estrategia integral que permita reducir el riesgo biológico en acuicultura, integrando diferentes medidas tanto de tipo activo como pasivo para la prevención de patologías con una gran incidencia económica en el sector, y aportando soluciones más sostenibles ambientalmente a las actualmente empleadas en acuicultura.
Grupo Tres Mares S.A actúa como socio representante del consorcio empresarial que ejecuta este proyecto el cual ha sido aprobado y subvencionado por CDTI en el marco de la convocatoria FEDER INNTERCONECTA 2015.
