EPOAIS INY

EPOXY ADHESIVE FOR INJECTIONS, TWO COMPONENT AND LOW VISCOSITY

Description Epoxy adhesive for injections, two component and low viscosity, EPOAIS INY ?

Two components epoxy adhesive based low viscosity resin to bond fresh concrete with cured concrete, to perform injections in cracks and fissures. Mixing the two components at the time of use. The time of the mixture is between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on temperature.

Aplication Epoxy adhesive for injections, two component and low viscosity?

Epoais Iny is used to inject cracks and structural crevices in order to obtain a monolithic piece. Injected fissures should be static. Epoais Iny is also used in the consolidation of microcracks made by concrete retractions. Can be used in concrete, mortar, stone, steel and wood. Besides paste both sides of the crack, it is also an effective barrier against water leaks that may occur in cracked parts.

Modes of application Epoxy adhesive for injections, two component and low viscosity?

It is recommended to mix in small quantities in accordance to the required injection, since the pot life of the mix is 5-15 minutes according to room temperature. -Fissures or cracks under repair must be dry or dampened without being soaked in water. The crack or fissure outline should be cleaned with compressed air. - In a horizontal plane, repair is carried out by grouting the cracks. Both sides of the fissure area are lined with putty cord so as to retain the liquid content. After the fissure repair, the resin and putty wastes are cleaned. - Vertical cracks are repaired by drilling the cracks for injection ports. All crack surfaces must be adequately covered with EPOAIS H so as to fix the metallic pipes fitted with plastic valves in each port. Pressure injection ports are thus embedded in the glue paste in the drilled holes in which valves are placed. The injection is first introduced at the lower valve under sufficient pressure for the epoxy compound to advance to the adjacent valve, by using a dispensing gun. The same process is repeated for the other valves in the same movement from up to down. - The procedure is repeated until the entire crack has been sealed. Once over, the valves are removed and the cracks are covered, using EPOAIS H if desired. - The application of EPOAIS INY is recommended when the crack is less than 5 mm thick. - New concrete must previously undergo a curing time of 28 days before any treatment. The recommended mix temperature at the moment of using the two components is 15-20ºC.
