Description Thixotropic micro-concrete without retraction., HORMITIX ?

Micro-concrete based on cement, thixotropic, without retraction, with high mechanical resistances. Excellent for reinforcing and reparation of concrete structures, fillings of hollows, pavement reinformcement, etc. Colour available: grey cement.

Aplication Thixotropic micro-concrete without retraction.?

In the reinforcement and reparation of micro-concrete structures. Damage reparation caused by movement. Reinforcement and reparation on pavements areas made of concrete mainly in areas in no horizontal situation such as ramps, areas near to waterings, etc.
Apply it with thickness between 20 and 50 mm.

Surface preparation

The surface must be cleaned, free of greases, oils, dust, compact, uniform and slightly wet. In case of polished supports, tiles, or supports with low adherence bonding agents must be used according with the requirements in each case.

Modes of application Thixotropic micro-concrete without retraction.?

 The HORMITIX blended must be done manual or mechanical but in both cases the container must be clean. It must be mixed with a 16% of water until obtain a thixotropic paste. -In case of mechanical blended use an low-revolution electric-mixer (300-500 rpm). -The support must be cleaned for spreading the material as soon as possible since it is mixed.
  Apply the micro-concrete by a pallet or another suitable tool taking into account its thixotropic consistence. - HORMITIX can be floated mechanically, with a mechanical trowel (helicopter type) until achive the desired sanding level. - Contraction joints must cut 24 hours over the pavement is made at the same time than the support joints. The number of joints can be higher but not lower. - HORMITIX must be cured suitablity. For that it can be keeping wet by irrigation. Also, curing products as LAUCRIS which avoid the evaporation of water quickly can be used. Thus, the superficial resistance against wearing is improved and cracks as well.

FEDER INNTERCONECTA

2015-2017 SHIAC (ITC-20151250): DESARROLLO DE TECNOLOGÍAS DE HIGIENIZACIÓN PARA LA REDUCCIÓN DE RIESGOS BIOLÓGICOS EN ACUICULTURA
El proyecto SHIAC tiene como objetivo principal la investigación y desarrollo de una estrategia integral que permita reducir el riesgo biológico en acuicultura, integrando diferentes medidas tanto de tipo activo como pasivo para la prevención de patologías con una gran incidencia económica en el sector, y aportando soluciones más sostenibles ambientalmente a las actualmente empleadas en acuicultura.
Grupo Tres Mares S.A actúa como socio representante del consorcio empresarial que ejecuta este proyecto el cual ha sido aprobado y subvencionado por CDTI en el marco de la convocatoria FEDER INNTERCONECTA 2015.
